1. The service
MEOK provides personal AI characters, signed identity passports (Ed25519), measurement and attestation tooling, training, and related services ("the Service"), operated by CSOAI LTD ("we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these terms.
2. Your account and passport
- You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account.
- Your passport's private key is generated and stored on your device. We cannot recover it. Losing it means losing the identity it signs for — keep backups.
- Signed records (attestations, decisions, measurements) are append-only. They can be corrected by later signed records, never silently rewritten.
3. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, no abuse of other users, no attempts to evade technical limits or other users' security.
- No misrepresentation of measurement results: an UNMEASURED status means "not measured", never "failed" — do not present it otherwise.
- No use of the Service to generate or distribute content that infringes third-party rights, including third-party characters or trademarks.
4. Measurement and attestation — read this carefully
- Measurement outputs describe what was measured, under stated conditions, at a point in time. They are evidence, not guarantees of future behaviour.
- Where a sample is small (fewer than 20 measurements) we flag it. Treat flagged results as preliminary.
- Attestations verify that a process occurred as recorded and signed. They are not certifications of legal compliance and not legal advice.
5. Paid plans
Free, pay-as-you-go, and subscription tiers are described at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. We do not charge without a clear price shown first.
6. Intellectual property
MEOK characters, the overlay standard, and Service software are ours or our licensors'. Your content and your passport remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service (store, sync, and display your content back to you).
7. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 for free-tier users). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms with notice posted here; material changes are notified in advance. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend accounts for breach, with notice where practicable.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you mandatory local protections.
